Ingredients:
- 1 cup sesame seeds
- 1 cup jaggery
- 2 tbsp water
- 1/4 tsp cardamom powder
Method:
- In a heavy-bottomed pan, dry roast sesame seeds on a medium to low flame
- Stop roasting as soon as the seeds start spluttering. Avoid over roasting as the seeds will turn bitter
- Heat jaggery in the same pan along with 2 tbsp water
- Boil the jaggery until it reaches a single string consistency
- Now add the sesame seeds and cardamom powder, and mix well
- Once it cools a bit, apply ghee on your palms and start turning the mixture in laddoos
