Ingredients:
- Moong dal – 1 cup
- Flaxseeds – 1/4 cup
- Jaggery – 1 cup
- Ghee – 1/4 cup
- Cardamom powder – 1/2 tsp
Method:
- Heat a pan on medium flame and dry roast the flaxseeds slowly. Keep mixing so that it gets roasted. As soon as flaxseeds start spluttering, it indicates they are roasted. Leave for a min and pour them in a plate to cool. After cooling, grind them to a fine powder
- Next dry roast moong seeds. Keep mixing until the colour changes from green to brown. Pour moong seeds also onto a plate to cool. After cooling, grind them until you get a coarse texture
- Grate your jaggery and take into a bowl
- Now take all the three in a mixer jar. Also add cardamom powder and grind until the jaggery melts
- Heat ghee till it melts and slowly add to the powdered mixture and start making laddoos
- You can serve them immediately or let them cool down completely and store in an airtight container to serve later
